Kamaal began his career at 16 as an apprentice at his father’s bespoke menswear shop in Bombay, and continued refining his craft in London at Kilgour, Stanbury and French, the most well-known and respected tailor on Savile Row.

 

In 2000 he moved to New York to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in the Menswear Design Program, and worked for Kenneth Cole and Michael Kors before establishing his own label in 2008.

 

Kamaal Kadri Custom continues a heritage in hand-tailoring and bespoke craftsmanship while also offering an expertise in contemporary design and true customization.
